Design: Steering House in close collaboration with homeowners Sarah and Coley Jellinghaus

Steeringhouse teamed up with homeowners Sarah and Coley Jellinghaus to overhaul a neglected frame house in the South Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. In the process of this complete gut renovation, a rear cantilevered extension was added to the building to accommodate the homeowner’s current and future space requirements. This clean, modern design takes advantage of the natural light in the South facing backyard with the addition of a custom steel glass wall and accordion door on the garden level.
