Our active project in Brooklyn Heights involves the gut renovation of a historic carriage house, which includes significant structural upgrades such as extensive underpinning and excavation to create a brand-new cellar beneath the building. The renovation also features a penthouse addition and an expansive rooftop deck, offering stunning outdoor space. Located on an easement, this project presented unique zoning and neighborhood challenges, which we successfully navigated after taking over the architecture and approval process from the original team. By streamlining the entitlement phase, we were able to put the project back on track. We look foward to getting our client’s family settled into their home soon.
